Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of being recognized for my work in investigative journalism. As a nominee for the prestigious Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award in 2021 for environmental reporting, I have showcased my ability to tackle complex issues and shed light on pressing environmental concerns. I have also been honored with the IRE Fellowship Award in 2020, which granted me honorary membership, along with other accolades such as the Bangladesh Journalist Alliance Award in 2019 for my work in legal investigation journalism. In addition to my recognition within the field, I have actively pursued opportunities for professional development. I am a Nuffic Scholar and a recipient of the RNTC scholarship from RNW Media, awarded by the Government of the Netherlands. I underwent specialized training on "Digital Media to Counter Disinformation and Hate Speech" at the RNTC Media Center, equipping me with the necessary skills to navigate the evolving media landscape and combat misinformation effectively. As a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, affiliated with the University of Oxford and the Reuters Institute, I have engaged with leading experts and gained insights into the intersection of journalism and climate issues. Furthermore, my participation as a fellow and member of the Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE) at Columbia University has deepened my understanding of investigative techniques, ethics, and the importance of in-depth reporting. The Asia-Pacific Internews Earth Journalism Network Fellowship awarded to me in 2022 provided an invaluable opportunity to cover the UNCBD Negotiation sessions in Nairobi, Kenya. This experience allowed me to witness firsthand the global negotiations surrounding environmental issues and reinforced my commitment to reporting on topics of critical importance. Having worked as a Senior Reporter for Jamuna Television, a prominent TV station in Bangladesh, for the past seven years, I have cultivated a wealth of experience in mainstream journalism. Through my investigative reporting, I have uncovered hidden facts, exposed corruption, and contributed to the public discourse on issues of social relevance. I am adept at conducting thorough research, conducting interviews, and presenting complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
