Biography

I'm a writer, editor, and fine artist curious about nature, food, wine, and place. As an editorial strategist, I've helped launch four wine publications in addition to my own award-winning site, Maker’s Table. My own creative work centers on the intersection of nature and culture. I travel extensively to meet with people to understand what connects them to their place, and I publish my discoveries in lifestyle and trade publications. My wine writing has won the Born Digital Wine Awards and Wine Blog Awards, been finalist in the IACP Food Writing Awards, and been cited as Notable in Best American Travel Writing. I'm routinely cited as a top influencer in wine commentary.
