For more than 20 years, award-winning journalist, fine art and editorial photographer Melanie Warner Spencer has covered news and lifestyle in print and online. Her work has appeared in The Chicago Tribune, The Huffington Post and Reuters in the United States and across the globe and has been recognized by the Texas Press Association, the Press Club of New Orleans and the International and Regional Magazine Association. Spencer's fine art photography has been shown in juried exhibitions throughout the South, including most recently in a group satellite show of Prospect New Orleans. For 10 years, Spencer served as the editor of four regional magazines in Louisiana. In 2021, she founded Drink Fit Club, an online community dedicated to helping people navigate alcohol free challenges via motivation, information, alcohol-free drink reviews, recipes and bringing the party without the booze.
