Melissa Heckscher is a freelance writer, columnist, and mother of three living in Los Angeles. She writes two weekly columns for the Beach Reporter, is a former staff writer for the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, and is the author of several nonfiction books, including, "The Pregnancy Test: 150 Important, Embarrassing, and Slightly Neurotic Questions" (Quirk Books, 2011). When she's not writing or parenting her children, she's probably binge-watching bad TV.
