Michelle Hughes was born June 22, 1969. She grew up as an Air Force brat, spending her early years in Weisbaden, Germany. The need to travel continued for years into her adult life, and she had a fulfilling career as a singer/songwriter touring the United States. When her twins were born, she decided to take her entertainment career off the road, and followed up on a favorite hobby, writing short stories. Now mother to five incredible children, and married to self-declared best fisherman on earth, she's enjoyed turning her hobby into a full time writing career. Residing on top of a mountain in scenic Rockford, Alabama, she enjoys staring over the lake and listening to the cry of bald eagles as she writes. Hughes is the founder and owner of Tears of Crimson. It began as site to promote her first paranormal romance, but over the years as her flavors of romance changed, it's become home to lovers of entertainment and of course book worms.
