Biography
The world of publishing - and my role as a journalist, editor and publisher within it - has given me the opportunity to investigate my insatiable curiosity for the world around me and the people within it. I was fortunate to land a job within magazine publishing right out of college focused on a highly technical engineering readership. My love of science and technology made this a perfect industry to dive into, and ten years later I'm still learning and loving my job. My passions and skills go well beyond writing, which allowed me to take on additional responsibilities as I grew in my role as Editor and transitioned into Associate Publisher. My goal is to understand the entire publishing process from start to finish. Travel has been a part of my life since I was a teenager, exploring the world and its many cultures. There is no limit to my interests in things I don't yet understand. I have also lived abroad, studying in Ecuador for a semester and living with a family while I honed my Spanish language skills. It was an unforgettable experience, and one that made me realize that there is nowhere on this Earth I would not want to explore at some point in my life.
