Biography
I'm a military reporter based primarily at the Pentagon for The Washington Times. Before I came here, I spent almost two decades as a metro reporter in Texas at the Houston Chronicle. Before that, I was in papers and magazines in several cities throughout Texas. I was in the Army for about six years before I got into the news biz. I was a lieutenant in charge of a platoon of artillery forward observers and mortar infantry soldiers during the Gulf War.
