Miles W. Griffis is a Los Angeles based freelance journalist and writer with beats in the outdoors, science, and LGBTQ+ culture. He has been published in The New York Times, Outside, Adventure Journal, Powder, Backpacker, W, INTO, The Advocate, and many others. Miles has also published poetry in The Matador Review and Court Green. In October 2020 he was a finalist in The Sewanee Review Nonfiction Contest.
