Biography

Moses K. Gahigi is a print journalist based in Kigali, Rwanda. He works for The East African & Rwanda Today, a premier regional newspaper, where for more than 8 years he has covered, analyzed and interpreted business/economic trends, social issues in Rwanda as well as emerging trends and opportunities in the EAC region’s investment climate. He has also contributed to How We Made It In Africa and Quartz Africa, a global online news platform capturing emerging innovations coming out of Africa, where he had contributed content on technology, business and investment. He is passionate about social justice; a thread that runs through his work as a journalist, writing human-interest stories as well, which won him an award of best investigative journalist in Rwanda. He is a storyteller and creative writer, working on his first poetry book, which was largely inspired by the countless strong men and women, whose stories of pain and triumph against all odds he has told over the years. ‎
