I gave myself a year to find a sustainable job doing the two things that have defined my life - writing and esports competition. With two months to spare, I found one. "On the ball" and "off your rocker" Today's journalistic environment is fast-paced, with little time allowed for making connections between seemingly unrelated events. It's a diservice to readers and writers, so I've spent my time trying to bring a part of that back to the profession. That sounds grandiose, but I do it because those are the stories I like to read - a researched, in-depth, connection of disparate points that paints a clear picture for readers relentlessly and without compromise.
