Biography

Omolola Afolabi is an Independent Journalist who reports stories on women, human rights and environmental justice. She has practised for four years and has collaborated with organisations including The Pulitzer Center, Premium Times and the Cable, HumAngle, The Nation, Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam and others. A Center for Investigative Journalism, London/Center Journalism Innovation and Development Fellow, Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism Fellow and a journalist under Rural Health and Accountability Project, all these have buffered her confidence in journalism as a means to turbo-charge desired change in societies. Omolola lives in Ibadan, Nigeria and has a degree and diploma from Obafemi Awolowo University and National Broadcast Academy respectively.
