County Line Magazine

County Lines is an independent monthly magazine highlighting southeast Pennsylvania's Chester County and its four neighbors: Montgomery, Delaware, Berks and Lancaster Counties as well as New Castle County in Delaware. In line with its local focus, the tone of our magazine is always positive and tasteful. Besides being one of the most widely read magazines in the region, County Lines is also the oldest. First appearing in September 1977, it has been continuously published ever since and always dedicated to the region's rich culture and remarkable heritage. Content of the magazine spans many topics–arts, theater, cooking, dining, equestrian events, home decor, gardening, style, schools, shopping, fitness, history, philanthropy and the best local events coverage anywhere. The common thread is "local interest." The core staff of the magazine, as well as most of its writers and photographers, are nearly all long-time residents of County Lines country and proud of it. Our advertisers are mainly small, highly-regarded shops, restaurants, schools, home builders, medical and financial professionals, realtors and other businesses and organizations with deep connections to our community and a long relationship with our magazine. The editors, whether searching for compelling stories or for entertainment, restaurants, music, art, theatre, or other events and places to recommend, focus almost exclusively on our region.
