Biography

I have focused my journalism on education, gender, culture, social issues and India's start-up economy for almost a decade. I hold an MA in International Journalism from City University London, with a specialism in development. As Special Correspondent with the Hindustan Times, I edited four weekly sections and managed a team of seven. I am currently exploring independent journalism with a variety of freelance projects, and is interested in experimenting with new media tools as serious news-broadcasting platforms. I have written for CNN, The Guardian, New York Magazine, Roads and Kingdoms, Scroll.in, Mint, Indian Express and Hindustan Times, among others
