As a bilingual (Spanish-English) reporter and correspondent for the BBC since 2016, I’ve covered major breaking news events for broadcast and digital, including radio and TV documentaries. I’ve covered relevant stories in the U.S. and Latin America, such as the Parkland and El Paso mass shootings, immigration from the Guatemalan Highlands, hurricane Irma in South Florida, the U.S. presidential election in 2016, the economic and political crisis in Venezuela and femicides in El Salvador. Before entering the BBC, I worked as an international producer in Bogota for the most influential live news radio program in Colombia, W Radio.
