I'm a senior investigative reporter at The Seattle Times, working primarily on long-term investigative projects. Milestone storytelling that I - and hopefully a few others - will always remember include pulling back the veil on corruption in the nuclear weapons program, decades of priest sexual abuse cover-ups, catching lawmakers with their hands in the public till, busting the prison system for keeping secrets from the parole board to reward dangerous informants and sharing the code that's forged behind prison walls with many who are lucky enough to never live within its confines.
