Biography

Rawan is a Digital Producer at the PBS News Hour Student Reporting Labs. She develops digital content strategies, manages social media platforms, and leads production teams to help tell stories about young people. She received her master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University. She was born and raised in the Washington, DC area to Lebanese parents and is a first-generation American. Recently, Rawan was a part of the PBS News Hour team that received the 84th annual Peabody Award for News and a 45th News & Documentary Emmy Award nomination for coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.
