Work Experience: SuperSport – September 2022-Present: • Ongoing Freelance Work for South African sports broadcaster SuperSport. • Wide ranging experience writing on the whistle match reports on rugby union (United Rugby Championship) and cricket (CSA One Day Cup & Australia vs South Africa Test Series). • Ali Ward (theoffice@mwp.co.za) can give reference of my reliability and high standard of work. The Cricketer – April-May 2022: • Month-long placement in The Cricketer’s newsroom, writing breaking news stories, previews and match reports for their website. • Proof of ability to use SEO and online-specific writing techniques. WorldinSport.com – October 2021-April 2022: • Currently writing sports news content for website worldinsport.com. • Provided practical experience in online journalism and tailoring writing to SEO techniques and online engagement.
