ROY TRAKIN is a pop culture critic, rock aficionado, published author, TV pundit, radio host and former lead singer for the legendary punk group The Geeks, not to mention diehard Mets/Knicks/Jets fan who has written for every music magazine that matters, and many that have disappeared from the face of the earth, starting out with the Soho Weekly News, and including, among others, New York Rocker, Musician, Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, HITS, VARIETY and POLLSTAR. He recently cremated his younger sister Janet and spread her ashes in the Pacific Ocean before a Mavis Staples concert.
