Based in Islamabad, I am working as a Fact Checker and Producer at Soch Media. Soch Fact Check: part of Soch Media is Pakistan's only International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN signatory) and Meta's third-party fact-checking partner. My role at Soch Fact Check requires investigating misinformation and disinformation spreading in Pakistan's media landscape. As a producer, I am making news reports, and documentaries on various topics including gender, climate change, and digital safety for Soch Videos. Previously I worked as a contractual Writer at The NewsRun; a media startup that provides smart and digestible breakdowns of Pakistan’s top news.
