Hello, I am Samiksha! And I like to write. My love for writing dates back to the time I was a kid. It started with my fascination for things that just felt good, like the sun, the sky and ice cream. While I was growing up, I saw my dad, who works with a regional daily, report on events happening in my town. I started keeping a diary, where I would write my own perspective on those issues. This is when writing, an expression of my reverence for things, became an expression of my concern. Reading and writing have played an important role in shaping me — someone who cares about what is happening around us. I discovered my passion for storytelling in school, and realised that writing is my best shot at living a gratifying life. I have worked for four years as a journalist, and I know it’s not easy, but I have also come to believe that the thrill of filing the final draft of a good story is unparalleled, or just the thrill of knowing that you did something important. There have been, and there are going to be, I know, times when I would break down and fall apart, but it is in these times, I believe, that my passion would drive me, help me get back on feet and start doing what I love to do the most — explore, write, tell stories and be the best at my job!
