Biography

I report on regulation for Risk.net and have covered rules covering market practice, capital, liquidity and high-quality securitisations. To name a few, at the moment I am covering news stories on non-modellable risk factors under the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book; the second Markets in Financial Instruments Directive - with it's accompanying regulation; Simple Transparent and Standardised Securitisations; the Net Stable Funding Ratio; and Step-in Risk. I joined Risk.net as a graduate of History in August 2015. I graduated at the University of Hull with First in History (BA Honors). I'm still currently unsure how I ended up in finance journalism but delighted it happened.
