Biography

Sarah Conway is a Chicago-based independent journalist who covers immigration, subculture and social justice. Her work has appeared in Chicago magazine, Chicago Reader, South Side Weekly, In These Times, Newcity and other publications. She is a former fellow at City Bureau, a civic journalism lab based on the South Side of Chicago, and a reporter at 90 Days, 90 Voices, a storytelling project covering the refugee crisis. Sarah previously worked in Iraq, Niger, Madagascar and Ghana.
