I'm a freelance writer and editor with bylines in Bitch Magazine, Protean Magazine, Himal Southasian, Whetstone Magazine, Goya Journal, Wear Your Voice, Color Bloq, Spill Magazine, The Chakkar and others. I write on gender and sexuality, pop culture through a queer feminist lens, the sociology of food, and migration. I also offer end-to-end editorial consultancy on a freelance basis. This includes a review of initial pitch/outline, developmental editing done in consultation with the author through multiple drafts, copyediting and proofreading of the final version.
