I'm a communications professional, having worked in the fields of journalism and government communications for over a decade. I'm an award-winning professional journalist for the Ogden Newspapers chain in West Virginia, with experience as a print/online reporter, an editor, a radio news reporter and anchor, a podcast host and producer, and a TV news producer. I took a break from journalism to work in communications for two branches of government. My reporting has been awarded by the West Virginia Broadcaster's Association and the West Virginia Press Association. In my spare time, I volunteer as a producer, DJ, and show host at a local volunteer community radio station.
