Stevie Zhang is currently a digital producer at the Previously, Stevie was a digital producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Asia Pacific Newsroom, and was also associate editor for First Draft, a non-profit that provided investigative research to newsrooms tracking and reporting on mis- and disinformation. They have also been a video producer for ABC Australia's nightly international news show The World, and helped produce a landmark report into the human rights abuses of Uyghurs in China at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. They have a Master of Journalism from the University of Melbourne, where they edited Farrago, Australia’s oldest student publication. Stevie has also written for Crikey, The Age, The Citizen, and Junkee.
