Biography

I'm a freelance multimedia journalist, currently interning with the NPR bureau in Moscow. My reports have aired on NPR's national newscasts, and I've written for NPR.org, Columbia Journalism Review, the Jewish Daily Forward and the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange. Before I became a reporter, my career as an international development program manager took me from Lake Baikal in Siberia to the West Nile region of Uganda. I've managed youth and education development programs in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia and taught English in Ukraine. I specialize in covering international and social issues.
