Company Info

SolarPACES

SolarPACES is an international network dedicated to advancing Concentrating Solar Power (CSP), solar process heat, and chemical applications. Established in 1977, it operates under the International Energy Agency (IEA) while maintaining its autonomy. SolarPACES is part of the IEA's Technology Collaboration Programme, promoting global cooperation in energy research and technology development. The organization focuses on high-temperature concentrating solar thermal technologies through various activities. These include research and development of CSP technologies, facilitating information exchange among members, supporting technology transfer, and conducting modeling and analysis to enhance CSP system efficiency. SolarPACES collaborates with stakeholders from government, academia, and industry across over 55 countries, contributing to significant projects like the NOOR I Tower CSP Project in Morocco and the Miraah Solar Steam Production in Oman. Additionally, it organizes the annual SolarPACES Conference, a key event for sharing innovations and research in the field.
