I am Tausif Akbar, currently working as a senior Fact-checker in Boom Bangladesh. I work to prevent the spread of false information. This is the reason why I have gained skills on OSINT & SOCMINT. I also received training from the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN) by BOOM, AFP Digital Investigation Techniques, DW Akademie's Misinformation & Fact-checking, Digital Sherlock from Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) by Atlantic Council and Fojo Media Institute's Investigative Journalism courses. Worked as freelance journalist, feature writer, translator. Amateur Bangla Wikipedian, Google local guide contributor and HAM operator. I have developed a search engine using Google's Programmable Search Engine Tool to search Bengali language fact-checking articles.
