Biography

I have been writing since I was eight years old. In those days, I explored the space of short stories, which evolved into poetry and essay writing. I continued my foray into the art of writing post-high school, writing essays for university students and getting paid to draft letters and edit academic documents. I became a journalist in 2015 and started writing for Daily Sun. I worked for that publication until 2019, and the following year, I started writing for Vutivi Business News, an online publication focusing on SMMEs and SMME-related news. I then joined Briefly News in 2023 and joined the Current Affairs desk. I wrote more poetry, essays, short stories, and theological treatises between these writing spells. Writing is my bread; it is my tongue, speech, and eyes. Without writing, my mind would have been silenced by the din of the world's monotonous and drudging mediocrity, something I strive to stick out from like two sore thumbs.
