Tom Holland, MS, CSCS, CISSN Tom Holland is an internationally recognized exercise physiologist and certified sports nutritionist with over 30 years’ experience in the fitness industry. Tom spent years honing his craft in New York City, becoming one of the top personal trainers and group fitness instructors in the country. He worked with hundreds of clients including celebrities, professional athletes, CEOs and "real people." In 1998 Tom founded TeamHolland LLC, a fitness consulting company, working with gyms, the media, fitness companies, sports nutrition companies and law firms, providing targeted expertise in exercise science, sports nutrition and sports psychology. Tom has a master's degree in exercise science & sport psychology and holds numerous national certifications including: NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ACSM, ACE and AFAA. He is a sports nutritionist (CISSN) certified through the International Society of Sports Nutrition and completed a graduate certificate in Human Behavior from Harvard University Extension School. Tom is the author of six books, including The 12 Week Triathlete (two editions), The Marathon Method, Beat the Gym, Swim, Bike, Run - Eat and The Micro-Workout Plan. Tom has created the workouts for and hosted dozens of fitness DVDs, starting with his original 3-DVD Tom Holland's Total Body Workout Series, which were picked up for national and international distribution and dubbed into French. He went on to star in The Abs Diet Workout, co-host the 12-DVD Herbalife 24 Fit, and host all 11 DVDs in the best-selling Supreme 90 Day fitness program. Tom is an elite endurance athlete who has spent the past twenty years racing all over the world. He has completed 26 Ironman triathlons in such countries as New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, Germany, Malaysia, China, Brazil and South Africa, and has competed in the Hawaii Ironman World Championships twice. He has also run over seventy marathons and ultramarathons, with races in France, Italy and Ireland. Tom is a sub-3 hour marathoner, an 8-time Boston marathon qualifier and was the winner of the 2007 Dutchess County Classic marathon. Ultramarathons include the JFK 50-miler, two Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim runs (46 miles and 32 miles) and the "Run to the Sun" ultra on Maui, running from sea level to the 10,000 foot summit of Mt Haleakala. Tom was the co-founder and coach of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation's "Team for Cures" program for ten years, coaching hundreds of athletes for various events and helping raise over 30 million dollars for the top-rated cancer charity. Tom now hosts the top-rated podcast Fitness Disrupted 2.0 and is currently working on his seventh book.
