Biography

I am a journalist based in Indian administered Assam. I am the editor of the Assamese Newspaper named Asom Barta . During my five years of experience i have been writing for local, national and international media. My write ups have been regularly published by Quartz, Ozy, Vice, The Wire, The Quint, The Citizen. From 2019 October to July 2020 I have worked as staff correspondent with some daily newspaper. I was also working as reporting fellow with a magazine. Currently i am working as Editor with Asom Barta newspaper. I also upload podcasts and my regular podcasts are available on Spotify, google podcasts and others. My interest is also in video stories and i have done many video stories and those are available on YouTube. My home town is Garamur in Majuli district.
