Biography

My role as a Morning News Reporter for Eyewitness News in Bakersfield was a platform for me to engage viewers and deliver compelling content. As part of a duopoly, we cover news on both stations and boast the longest morning show in our market (4 1/2 hours on weekdays). I have extensively covered various events, including press conferences, health, ribbon cuttings, crime-related events, and community events, among others, LIVE during morning newscasts, station's website via articles, and social media platforms. I also have experience in reading and understanding how to construct press releases, as it's where I get most of my stories for our morning show. My primary duties were to relay factual information from officials to the public by creating compelling news videos and stories on weekday mornings. Notably, I played a crucial role in helping the station increase viewership and achieve high viewer engagement during our CBS morning show, a testament to my ability to capture and hold the attention of our audience.
