Ty Johnson is a multimedia journalist and editor based in the Washington, D.C. region. Ty is the managing editor of Asphalt Pavement Magazine, a publication of the National Asphalt Pavement Association. He has worked previously as a government reporter for the Brownsville Herald and the Goldsboro News-Argus, sports editor at The Garner Citizen and served as editor-in-chief of N.C. State’s student newspaper, Technician. His work has appeared in a number of publications, including the Raleigh News & Observer, Independent Weekly, and WRAL in the North Carolina Triangle region and the Monitor, South Texas Outdoors Magazine & the Valley Morning Star in the Texas Rio Grande Valley.
