As an NCTJ qualified multimedia journalist, trained by Press Association- I aspire to work with a company that encompasses multimedia platforms. My experience within journalism ranges from regional news (Trinity Mirror), local news (Archant, Ham&High) to working for a HR Publication as the lead digital content executive. This has allowed me to grasp a variety of writing styles, including news reporting yet also analysis and features. I have also written for The Global Panorama Travel section, and worked with FRUK Magazine – so that I could fulfil my passion for writing for a magazine. My experience of working under pressure and on deadlines in a newsroom, as well as on a freelance basis has also given me the skills of time management, and further deepened my passion for the craft. This is because I work well under fast-paced environments, a necessity when working in editorial.
