Company Info

Le Temps

Le Temps is a leading Swiss French-language daily newspaper published in the Berliner format by Le Temps SA, based in Geneva. Launched on March 18, 1998, it emerged from the merger of several newspapers facing financial challenges. Since 2021, it has been owned by Fondation Aventinus, a not-for-profit organization. The newspaper focuses on a range of topics, including politics, business, finance, culture, and lifestyle. It is the only nationwide French-language non-specialized daily in Switzerland. Le Temps also offers a digital version of its publication, which is widely read, and a Saturday edition called Le Temps Week-end, featuring in-depth interviews and sections on society, psychology, philosophy, literature, and gastronomy. The newspaper is recognized for its credibility and is a key medium for reaching influential readers in French-speaking Switzerland.
