I’ve been writing since… well, since I literally learned how to write. Being a writer was always my dream. The dream has changed shape over the years, but one thing has always remained the same: words are my passion. These days, my passions have expanded a bit. As a single mom to two incredible young men, I love all things parenting. And if a House Hunters marathon comes on HGTV, I’m there, trying to guess which house they’re going to pick (even if I know it’s all staged anyway!). And with a family history of cancers, heart disease, and diabetes, I’m always looking to learn the best new alternative health options that might improve my family’s and my own health. When I’m not parenting, trying to understand how a fresh-out-of-college teacher can afford a million-dollar home on House Hunters or researching the latest alternative health trends, you can find me reading, catching up on my favorite Netflix shows, or enjoying the beautiful -though incredibly humid and hot – weather here in sunny Florida. I'm also a meditation teacher and have several coaching certifications that I often use in my writing.
