I was born and raised in Minneapolis. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014 with a degree in political science and came away with four years of experience writing for the Minnesota Daily and other newspapers. In my first two years after college, I worked as a blogger, social media manager, freelance reporter and a public relations manager before I found myself at Patch. I am a huge Minnesota sports fan. I was born one year after the Twins won their last World Series title, so I'd love it if they could win one sometime during my life...
