Al-Jumhuriya

Al-Jumhuriya Collective is an independent Syrian media platform and intellectual collective established in March 2012. Founded by journalists, writers, and intellectuals, it promotes democratic and secular ideals aligned with the Syrian Revolution. Registered in Germany, it operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering open debate, critical thinking, and progressive values in Syria and the broader Arab region. The collective provides in-depth journalism, including analyses, investigations, and documentary literature on Syria's social, political, economic, and military dynamics. It publishes weekly editions to offer structured analysis of current events and features multilingual content, primarily in Arabic with English translations. Al-Jumhuriya Collective also engages in cultural discourse through essays, opinion pieces, and literary works that reflect Syria's transnational identity. Led by Karam Nachar, the organization emphasizes collaborative authorship and operates as a decentralized network of contributors.
