Biography

K Yatish Rajawat Yatish Rajawat is policy commentator, writer, business strategist and speaker based out of Delhi. He writes for Firstpost.com, Businessworld magazine Forbes India. He is a regular policy commentator for public broadcasters Rajya Sabha TV, Lok Sabha TV and several other private news channels. He is also founding member of India’s only think tank on urbanization --Livable Habitats. He is a fellow with the Institute of Competitiveness, the Indian knot of the global network of Institutes on strategy and competitiveness of Harvard Business School. Yatish started his career as a journalist with The Hindu Business Line, where he was the youngest columnist in the group in 1995. He later went on to become the first Technology Editor for Economic Times in 1999 and was awarded the Best Journalist of the Year Award by Madhu Valluri Foundation in 2002. In 2007, Yatish moved on to Business World and was instrumental in revamping the magazine. In 2008 he conceptualized and launched the first Hindi Business newspaper in the country- Business Bhaskar. In 2009, he was given the overall responsibility of running the editorial function of the Dainik Bhaskar Group and for all its editorial products as its Managing Editor. He was thus inducted into the National leadership team of Dainik Bhaskar and was responsible for 250 odd city editions of the group in Hindi, Gujarati and English. He has been invited by the government of India on active consultation in Planning Commission, Ministry of Statistics & Plan Implementation and Ministry of Urban Development. He is an MBA from NMIMS and B Com (hons) from Delhi University.
