Yousuph Adebayo Grey is an award-winning multimedia journalist with a career spanning broadcast, print, and digital media. He's a trained Radio Producer at the National Broadcast Academy, [formerly FRCN Training School], the training arm of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. He also has bylines on reputable publications including Guardian Newspapers, Opera News, and The New York Times. His in-depth reporting on showbiz in Nigeria while working as an entertainment reporter with the mandate to cover and document the music, movies, comedy, and arts industries earned him the prestigious Olu Aboderin Entertainment Reporter of the Year 2021 at the Nigeria Media Merit Awards. He however has an even more expansive catalog of award-winning works including a three-part expose on the acclaimed godman, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji; a three-part investigation on the Hausa film industry, Kannywood and an exclusive chat with Chief Osaheni Uzamere, the lawyer who defended Nigeria's most known armed robber, Lawrence Anini. After extensive exploit in the print and digital journalism space, Grey made a comeback on Radio with his appointment as the Head of Station of Agidigbo 88.7 FM at the age of 25 - the youngest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Within a year of operations, he led the team at Agidigbo 88.7 FM to become the third most listened to Radio Station in Oyo state. In May 2022, he launched The Film Conversation, a film journalism startup advancing the conversations about Nigerian movies through quality film journalism.
